CD packaging

Sorry, I haven’t made an official debut on here. Since I am going to start cleaning up my place to make room for a sister, I’m starting to find old freelance.

Last summer I made these book like cd covers that kinda pop and slide the cd out. Here is a sample of my demo.

I printed on silver metallic paper and doing scores and folds caused it to lose its shiny texture :/ Any ideas? Maybe I should coat it with something. But you get the idea of the style, I hope. Sorry for the fuck ><;

Materials used:

  • 18×12 bright white card stock 120lb paper weight
  • cd- and cd labels to print on
  • x-acto knife
  • cutting mat
  • ruler
  • embossing tool
  • a weird mind to come up with random song titles
