Sorry, I haven’t made an official debut on here. Since I am going to start cleaning up my place to make room for a sister, I’m starting to find old freelance.
Last summer I made these book like cd covers that kinda pop and slide the cd out. Here is a sample of my demo.
I printed on silver metallic paper and doing scores and folds caused it to lose its shiny texture :/ Any ideas? Maybe I should coat it with something. But you get the idea of the style, I hope. Sorry for the fuck ><;
Materials used:
- 18×12 bright white card stock 120lb paper weight
- cd- and cd labels to print on
- x-acto knife
- cutting mat
- ruler
- embossing tool
- a weird mind to come up with random song titles

Things you will need:
- Hot glue gun
- fake flowers
- hair tie
- or clip
- or hair band
- matching felt or fabric
- Scissors
- bobby pin
Just pick the type of clip or hair band or tie whatever you like using the most and grab your trusty glue gun and have at it. Just be very careful when using your glue gun because I’ve burned myself sooooo many times. So please be careful. For some, it might be difficult to glue the flower/leaf to the clip so I use felt as a base. Its easy to hide and it holds.

I plan to make a how to video for this entry too. I just take my time. >.< Sorry about that. I still owe one for my last entry as well. Look forward to that and to the next entry. :3

Ingredients you will need:
- 1 pkg of Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe Pineapple Supreme Cake Mix
- 1/2 cup of butter (1 stick)
- 1 cup of brown sugar (I prefer using light brown sugar but you can use which ever you want)
- 1 (20 oz) can of Pineapple slices
- Maraschino cherries
- Whipped Cream (optional)
First preheat oven to 350 F .
Then melt the butter in a bowl and dump it in a 13×9 inch pan. Sprinkle with sugar (Note: try to cover the edges as much as you can so that the corners of your cake wont be messy like mine was.) Then arrange pineapple slices and maraschino cherries on sugar mixture.
Prepare cake mix as directed on package. (Do not substitute pineapple juice for water.) Pour batter evenly over fruit.
Bake 50 minutes or until toothpick in center comes out clean. Let it cool. Then flip on a large serving plate. Serve warm with whipped cream. and enjoy :9
The final product looks like this.
yummy right? lol I hope you like this recipe and I’ll see y’all next time
