The smell of chocolate… <3

The smell of chocolate...

Just because Valentines day is over doesn’t mean you cant indulge yourself  in some home made chocolates :9

Ingredients you will need:

1/3  Heavy cream

6 Tbs UNSALTED Butter

2 cup of Semi sweet or Bittersweet chocolate chips

First heat the heavy cream in a small sauce pan heat the cream and add the butter, stir until melted. Add chocolate chips and stir until completely melted and has a smooth texture (note: Chocolate can burn easily so make sure you keep your eye on it.)  After the chocolate is melted  pour it in a shallow bowl and refrigerate it for 2 hours  or at least its firm. Once firm get a melon baller and form chocolate balls and roll it in nuts, coconut or whatever you like 😀 Refrigerate and enjoy last up to 2 weeks in a sealed container. Share the love and give them to a love one or a friend <3

New years!! ^_^

New years!! ^_^

Are you having a new years party but don’t know what to make?  or don’t have the time to make something extravagant? Well you came to the right place nothings quick and easy and delicious as Puppy chow (no its no meant  for your dog)

Ingredients you will need:

  • Peanut butter (creamy)
  • chocolate chips (or any kind of chocolate as long as you can melt it.)
  • powder sugar
  • and Chex cereal (plain)

First you melt the chocolate chips you can use a double boiler or melt them in the microwave but be careful you will have to constantly watch it cause it may burn . Also the amount of chocolate depends on how much cereal you want to use if your having alot of people over then I recommend two bags of chocolate chips and 2 boxes of cereal this will make alot. but if your just having a get together then one bag of chocolate chips and one box of cereal will make a decent amount.

Next mix some peanut butter ( If you love peanut butter then you will most likely want to put alot but if your like me and dont care for peanut butter you can just omit it or just add a little ) Note: do not melt the peanut butter it will melt when you mix it in the chocolate.

After you have properly mix the chocolate and peanut butter together put a small portion in a bowl and start coating them with powder suger your gonna repeatedly do this until all of the cereal is coated evenly. Note: be careful when your stirring  the cereal  may break and get gross and icky.

*Party Idea*: a cute idea is to put them in cute boxes or bags and hand them out as party favors. :3

Mmm….Pancakes :9

Mmm....Pancakes :9

Well I have been using pancake mix all my life (aka aunt jemima pancake mix :P) and I have always wanted to try making homemade pancakes which really arent that hard I’m just lazy lol

The ingredients you will need are:

  • 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt , 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/4 cups of milk
  • 1 egg , 3 teaspoons of butter (melted)

First in a large bowl sift together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter, mix until smooth.

Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter on to the griddle. Then wait until its cooked.

This recipe should make at least 7 or 8 hotcakes 😀
