Flat Roses

Flat Roses
  • Fabric(I suggest double sided fabric)
  • Scissors
  • Needle and thread

I learned how to make  this flower from this video; it also shows you two other fabric flowers. One of which I have introduced before. (The kinzashi flower) I have yet to learn the 3D rose but give me time and I will. 🙂 The flat roses were somewhat tricky at first. Use a fabric with either another print on the back or a solid color. No faded wrong sided fabrics. I think the flowers will come out better that way. I love this flower, I plan to make the ones I have made so far  in to some more hair accessories. But you could use this project for a number of things. That’s what I love so much about this flower.

I hope they resemble roses and its not just me hoping they do. -.-

They look even more cute in person! I like the idea of adding safety pins and being able to add to purses or jackets!!! Great job Kim!
